Dr. Howa Yeung is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine. He earned his MD from New York University and trained at Emory University for dermatology residency. He completed a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Emory after residency. His NIH-funded research focuses on understanding the effect of hormone therapy on the skin in the context of gender-affirming hormone therapy. He is the first and thus far only dermatologist certified by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. He serves as an Associate Editor of JAMA Dermatology.
